• From I-215 . . .
  • proceed east bound to the 62nd South exit
  • Go EAST to the corner of Wasatch Blvd and 72nd
  • STOP at the light and turn LEFT
  • Go 1+ miles NORTH to the first light (just north of the gravel pit)
  • Turn RIGHT, go ONE BLOCK to Gun Club Drive
  • Turn RIGHT
  • Go to the end of the road, up the STEEP hill
  • Park at the Club House.
• From surface streets . . .

  • Get on Wasatch Blvd
  • Go NORTH (or SOUTH) to the Gravel Pit 1+ miles north of 72nd South (mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon)
  • At the light on the north end of the gravel pit, turn EAST
  • Turn at the FIRST RIGHT onto Gun Club Drive
  • Go to the end of the road, up the STEEP hill
  • Park at the Club House

CHECK IN at the Club House, or with the CAS Shoot Committee

We will announce the practice shoot days in may, June and July on this website.

We will shoot the BP Championship at the Smith Place on August 6, 2005 in the afternoon.

We will shoot the Utah War SASS State Championship on August 11-13, 2005.

• From Park City . . .
  • take I-80 EAST, about 10 miles to the Wanship exit
  • Turn LEFT (North) into "town"
  • At the "T" intersection, turn LEFT (West)
  • Go 1.5+ miles down the frontage road (Wanship Road); the Smith Place is just past the hay barn on the north, 100 yards into the pasture
  • Drive through the gate, on the path, to the shooting range
• Traveling SOUTH . . .
  • Go past Coalville to the FIRST Wanship exit
  • Turn NORTH (towards "town"), then
  • Travel WEST throught town
  • At the "T" intersection, STOP, then go straight (continuing WEST)
  • Go 1.5+ miles down the frontage road (Wanship Road); the Smith Place is just past the hay barn on the north, 100 yards into the pasture
  • Drive through the gate, on the path, to the shooting range

  We will have RV parking next to the shooting area for smaller rigs, and across the road in a flat area for the big rigs.
